o Highlight – Copy – and Paste
o Use Spell check
o Save Document to Correct files and/or folders
o Use the undo function
o Use the page setup feature for landscape documents
o Create a Timeline using word
o Open an existing document
o Insert a clip art and picture and resize
o Make a document with Bullets and/or Numbers
o Use the Help function to search for problems
o Change tabs and margins
o Use Print Preview
o Print on a specific Printer
Students will have knowledge in:
Using Standard, Formating and Drawing Toolbars
How to make a Header and Footer
How to double space a document
Excel Students will be able to:
Create Table
Create Column and Rows
Title Column and Rows
Use the Insert Function to Add, Subtract, Multiply and Divide
Create a visual: Column, Line, Bar and Pie Chart using information from a table created in excel.
Label the visual chart correctly
Manipulate Column and Row Sizes
Use the Auto Sum function
Use the copy and paste function
Use the currency style, percent, and comma function
Bold, Underline, and Italic letters and numbers
Change the Font
Understand the numbering and lettering for columns and rows.
Students will have knowledge in:
Using the Standard, Formatting, Reviewing and Drawing Toolbars
Bordering specific numbers on the table.
Using Spell Check, Error Checking
Using the Sort function to alphabetize tables
Use the help function to solve problems Power Point
Students will be able to
Create a Power Point Project at least 8 slides long
Insert pictures from file or clip art
Copy and Paste from other documents including Excel and Word
Use Slide Transitions both manually and timed
Use the Custom Animation features
Change Font Sizes, Colors, and types
Use the bold, italic and underline features
Make hyperlinks to websites
Make hyperlinks to other slides
Change Background colors or Design Templates for individual slides and all slides
Use the Standard, Formatted, Drawing, and Task Plane Toolbars
Start a slide show
Insert a new slide and duplicate slides
Insert music
Drag and drop slides in the Task plane toolbar
Use Custom animation and transitions
Use the help function to solve problems
Use the Word Art tool bar
Students will have knowledge in
o Creating Charts
o Create tables and graphs using Power Point
o Create a Power Point for a webpage
